Hello!  I am Whitney, your resident website designer.  While I have no formal degree in the subject area, I have been using photoshop since middle school. I've also been messing around with the creation of websites since high school.  I graduated from the University of Maine with a bachelor’s degree in English. and my master’s degree in Higher Education.  I currently work within the Department of Enrollment Management.

 

I am a huge fan of Harry Potter and all things Disney.  Especially Disney Princesses.  I am a lover of any book that isn't classified as horror.  My most recent favorites include anything by Sarah Dessen, Cassandra Clare, or Jane Austen.  I also love a good series, such as The Throne of Glass.  While I don't write professionally, I love to tell stories. I am always willing to share pictures of my travels, whether it is to Target or a big city.  Traveling is one of my passions. I took some time during my college career to study abroad to London. The experience has made me permanently obsessed with the magical city.  I hope to continue traveling and exploring the world as I grow older. 

 

Among my portfolio projects, I designed the core of our PEName website. I also created the graphic in the background of KC's personal page. Another image is coming soon for my personal page - I think!
